Maryland Glass Etching Works Table Set--Sugar w/ Etch #1142
This sugar is part of a table set that included sugar, creamer, button and spooner. The Gallery has examples of all but the spooner. This etching technique is known as fume etching.
The image at the lower right show the location and magnification of a signature. It is at the bottom of the etch almost dead center in the image. Between the scratches and glare it is a little difficult to see and is first intial and last name; "G Truog".
