Both Kemple and L. E. Smith bought a mold for this vase from McKee when McKee closed. Evidently McKee had more than one of several molds. Smith made made this piece in amber from 1967-1969. Kemple pieces are often marked; Smith pieces from McKee molds are not. Based on the color, Tom Felt, author of L. E. Smith Glass Company The First One Hundred Years" thinks this vase was probably produced by L. E. Smith.
When McKee made the vase it was their #412 Innovation vase.
